Kendra Nalubega-Booker

 

Author of From Undocumented to Doctorate (Pushback Press, 2023), Kendra is a Critical Race Theory & Raciolinguistics scholar and a fourth-year doctoral student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.

Her published works explore black literacies in the U.S education system, specifically African-born immigrants. She is also a Diversifying Faculty in Higher Education (DFI) fellowship recipient.
